Audi Urban Redesign Project

Audi sets out to influence the world beyond their cars by giving parking spaces back to the people in the form of functional public art. With the Audi A7 as the inspiration, two blocks of parking spaces on San Francisco's famous Powell Street were converted into parklets to help improve foot traffic and raise the aesthetics of the street. The parklets included platforms and furniture sculpted out of aluminum and wood and also featured free public wifi powered by solar panels.
